On August 1st to 4th , 2018, SEE delegation led by Prof. Chen Weirong, dean of SEE, Prof. Luo Qianchao, secretary of Secretary of the CPC Committee at SEE, Prof. Gao Shibin, director of NEEC, vistied to Qingdao. Other members are: He Xiaoqiong, deputy dean, Song Wensheng, dean assistant, Jiang Qi-long, director of Power Electronics and Power Transmission Engineering Department, Huang Deqing, from Electronic Information Engineering Department, Liu Wei, deputy director of Electrical Engineering Department, and teacher representatives, Mai Ruikun, Li Qi, Wang Ying, Wang Song, Dai Chaohua, Chen Minwu, Liu Jun. The delegation visited the National Innovation Center of High Speed (referred to as the Innovation Center), Qingdao Sifang co., LTD. (referred to as Sifang Stock), and CRRC Qingdao Sifang Rolling Stock Research Institute co., LTD. (referred to as Sifang Research Institute).
On August 2nd, the delegation visited the National Engineering Laboratory, Assembly Branch, EMU and Subway Assembly Plant of Sifang Stock, and then exchanged with some technical experts of Sifang Stock. 30 leaders and engineers, including Liang Jianying , deputy general manager and chief engineer of Sifang Stock, Cao Zhiwei, manager of Technical Department, Tao Guidong, deputy chief engineer and executive deputy director of Technical Center, Wu Donghua, deputy chief engineer and deputy director of Engineering Center, attended the meeting. Liang Jianying introduced Sifang Stock and delivered a warm welcome to the delegation. Prof. Chen Weirong introduced the development and achievements of electrical engineering discipline, as well as the personnel training and scientific research of SEE. Then school teachers respectively reported research projects, such as a high power density of energy-efficient power electronic transformer, power wireless transmission technology, hydrogen fuel cell hybrid EMU technology, train operation control and traction drive system, the electromagnetic problems in rail transit system, power electronic system fault prediction and health management, urban rail traction power supply research, ultra high speed maglev traffic and drive control, train gelling control technology, vehicle power battery technology, optimize the coupling characteristics of traction power supply system and train group of electrical matching, etc.
On August 3rd, the delegation visited Sifang Research Institute, and discussed with Xing Xiaodong, general manager, Chen Kai, deputy general manager, Wang Fengzhou, deputy chief engineer, Sun Guobin, director of Technical Center and other technical experts. On behalf of Sifang Research Institute, Xing Xiaodong warmly welcomed the delegation and introduced Sifang Research Institute. Chen Weirong introduced the talent cultivation, scientific research and employment of SEE, and our teachers reported the scientific research progress and achievements, including power electronic transformer research and so on. Chen Kai, deputy general manager proposed five aspects of cooperation intention.
After the visit, SEE will establish long-term and close exchanges and cooperation with Sifang Stock, Innovation Center and Sifang Research Institute.
