On the morning of March 9, Vice President Kang Guozheng and Director of Academic Affairs Cui Kai inspected the College of Electrical Engineering. Dean Chen Weirong, Party Committee Secretary Luo Qianchao, Professor Feng Xiaoyun, Professor Gao Shibin and other leaders attended the meeting.
Vice President Chen Minwu made a report on undergraduate education and teaching，which has achieved fruitful results by continuously deepening the education and teaching reform. in the future, the college will take some initiatives to achieve the long-term development of undergraduate education and teaching and make greater contribution to the development of the university.
Vice President Kang Guozheng affirmed the current achievements of the College in undergraduate education and teaching, and stressed that the next step is to strengthen the internal construction and pay close attention to the academic atmosphere: on the one hand, research students' classroom participation and improve students' motivation. On the other hand, we should strengthen the curriculum construction and promote the continuous improvement of teachers' ability.
At the meeting, the leaders and teachers made it clear that the focus of the next phase of work of the college is to complete the international engineering education certification of the electronic information engineering major, and at the same time vigorously promote the construction of the first batch of modern industrial colleges in China, the "China Automotive Times Microelectronics College".
Professor Feng Xiaoyun said that the undergraduate work will set priority to the international engineering education certification of electronic information engineering , highlight the connotation construction, optimize the curriculum system , and ensure the quality of talent training.
Finally, President Chen Weirong expressed his gratitude to President Kang for his research in the college. The college has always insisted on student-centered and good undergraduate education and teaching work, and also hoped that the university would give more support in the declaration of national teaching achievement award and "Internet+" college innovation and entrepreneurship competition.
